La Sierra de Luquillo, va ser la primera terra de Puerto Rico, albirada per Cristòfor Colom en 1493. No obstant això els orígens d'aquest poble, no van tenir lloc fins a finals del segle XVIII. Luquillo està localitzat a l'extrem nord-est de Puerto Rico entre les localitats de Fajardo i Río Grande. Les seves platges daurades d'aigües blaves i abundants palmeres, converteixen a Luquillo, en un dels llocs més pintorescos i paradisíacs del Carib.

La Sierra de Luquillo, fue la primera tierra de Puerto Rico, avistada por Cristóbal Colón en 1493. No obstante los orígenes de este pueblo, no tuvieron lugar hasta finales del siglo XVIII. Luquillo está localizado en el extremo noreste de Puerto Rico entre las localidades de Fajardo y Río Grande. Sus playas doradas de aguas azules y abundantes palmeras, convierten a Luquillo, en uno de los lugares más pintorescos y paradisíacos del Caribe.

The Mountain range of Luquillo, was the first land of Port Rico, sighted by Cristóbal Columbus in 1493. Despite the origins of this town, they did not take place until end of century XVIII. Luquillo is located in the northeast end of Puerto Rico between the localities of Fajardo and Rio Grande. Their blue water beaches golden and abundant palms, turn to Luquillo, in one of the most colorful and paradisiacal places of the Caribbean.
